Do not worry, understanding what a prototype is not as difficult as it sounds. Although there are many technical and engineering aspects that go into creating a prototype, understanding the use of what your idea or invention is and what it shall be used for is quite simple. Essentially, a product prototype is a physical manifestation of your idea or concept. The prototype will be conceptual but a functional product made of different materials and mediums that serve for either education or informative purposes to validate the function of your idea and most importantly, the viability of your product.
We are capable of delivering full lifecycle prototyping capabilities from design to fabrication. This includes the following services:
The most fundamental reason for prototyping your idea is to simply prove that your idea works. Prototypes are vital and critical for inventors and engineers because they allow the creator or maker to validate that idea or product concept. Often times the engineer or designer will initially suggest creating a prototype as a validation effort for understanding the future of the products viability leading into production and manufacturing. An idea may seem easy in your mind but once we set out to fabricate it and make the idea into the physical world, it can actually be harder and problem solving then initially imagined. This is VERY important before moving into production. It is impossible to manufacture a product that has a faulty design or functionality, therefore having a prototype is extremely vital for discussing manufacturing as it gives an extremely detailed look into how the initial design of the product and idea may need to either be refined or redeveloped as a whole.
